FacTech is currently seeking a Field Services and Commissioning Representative to join our team in Bedford, PA. This role is responsible for performing a range of duties, including construction observation, site observation reports, reviewing drawings, cost estimates, and change orders, ensuring the compatibility of system design equipment in accordance with specialized codes and specific energy requirements, and attending construction and coordination meetings for building system projects. All levels of experience are needed, including entry level through senior levels of experience, as well as varying degree and professional levels.

 

General Responsibilities Include:​​

• Ensure equipment is compatible with system design and installed in accordance with IECC, USGBC LEED, ASHRAE or other standards, codes or specific energy requirements.

• Collaborate with engineering team members, contractors and owners to ensure that the design is accurate and that contract responsibilities are met according to client's expectations.

• Responsible for construction administration and coordination of field construction activities.

• Conduct and prepare site observation reports.

• Coordinate efforts with project teams, engineering disciplines, architects, contractors and owners.

• Participate in construction administration meetings with contractors and owners.

• Perform shop drawing reviews, cost estimates, change orders and other reports.
